Amalgam

Girls at the beach by Rosemary Burn

A live and digital exhibition, bringing audiences an amalgam of visual art and audio theatre.

A multi-disciplinary art collaboration combining an exhibition by visual artist Rosemary Burn with three audio plays inspired by the artwork. Available to view/listen both physically at the Space and on online platforms, Amalgam will encourage audiences to experience art and theatre in a new way.

The 15 – 20 min audio plays will be written by Isabel Dixon, Lekha Desai Morrison and Martin Malcolm, with direction from the Space’s Adam Hemming and dramaturgy by Literary Manager, Mike Carter. The plays will be recorded with actors, which will then be edited and produced by Bethany Sharp of Frequency Theatre.

Coming to the Space and online from the 17th of May 2021
